Melissa is a 1980 graduate of Lowndes High School and holds numerous achievements and awards.  She worked in the finance business and served as a Regional Manager for 10 offices. She has had a lot of success in Real Estate since beginning her career and her 20+ years in the finance business served as a tremendous benefit. She had gross sales totaling over 3 million dollars her first year. Most recently Melissa was recognized as the 2008 #1 Top Sales Person by the Tift Area Board of Realtors. She has also been awarded the 2007 & 2008 Circle of Excellence, Gold Level. Active Realty welcomes Lavonia Stepherson to its team!  Mrs. Stepherson, wife of Pastor/Councilman James W. Stepherson, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her. She began her career as a Registered Nurse which she has dedicated over 40 years. Mrs. Stepherson worked for Chrysler Corporation for over 20 years as an Occupational Nurse Specialist and later in her career she went on to teach nursing, work with catastrophic case management, and risk management. Aside from her professional career she has owned investment properties and owned a retail store. Recently, Mrs. Stepherson assumed the role of Program Director, East Central Technical College of the Certified Literate Community Program. Under her leadership, the East Central Region (Atkinson, Ben Hill, Coffee, and Wilcox Counties) has gained participant status. This achievement will  increase literacy and lead to economic development in these communities.

Allen grew up in Fitzgerald and is a 1998 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. In 2003, he recieved his bachelor's degree in Industial Management from Georgia Southern University. He worked as a supervisor/manager in the manufacturing and distribution industry for over 5 years. In 2009, he obtained his Real Estate Sales license and became a State Registered Real Property Appraiser.
